The following plugins are available either as core features of QGIS or through the QGIS plugin manager. See the QGIS manual for instructions on how to add 3rd party plugin repositories and/or install plugins:

• DataBase Manager: One Manager for all data sources 
• Arpat plugin: Display stratigraphy from surveys
• ClosestFeatureFinder: Select the closest feature
• DockableMirrorMap: Creates a dockable map canvas synchronised with the main one
• GdalTools: Integrate gdal tools into QGIS (now merged as core functionality)
• Linear referencing plugin: Calculate dynamic segmentation for PostGIS layers
• Transformation Tools: Help using NTv2 grids or towgs84 parameters to transform -or reproject on the fly- vector and raster layers

• RT Sql Layer: Load a PostGIS/SpatiaLite layer using a custom query. Developed with funding from Regione Toscana-SIGTA

• RT Omero: Cadastre management tool for Toscana Region

• SpatiaLite Manager: Manage your SpatiaLite databases. NOTE: superceded by DB Manager plugin
• Triangulation: AniMov, Triangulation of telemetry bearings
• Geotag and Import Photos: To write EXIF tags into digital photos and import them as point layers
• RT MapServer Exporter: A plugin that allow to export a QGIS project as a .map (mapfile) to be used with (UMN) Mapserver
